ADR states that persons whose duties concern the carriage of dangerous goods shall be trained in the requirements governing the carriage of such goods appropriate to their responsibilities and duties.  These requirements apply to individuals such as personnel who are employed by the road vehicle operator, consignor or personnel who load or 
unload dangerous goods.  If you require training in the transport of dangerous goods by road please contact Paul who will tailor a course to suit your needs.

  •  Limited Quantities
  •  Packaging requirements
  •  Marking and labelling
  •  Documentation
  •  Transport plates and placards

To legally drive a goods vehicle carrying regulated hazardous goods a driver must hold an ADR Vocational Training Certificate. To obtain an ADR Training Certificate drivers must attend a Department of Transport approved course and pass the relevant SQA Examinations. Transafety can provide this course at our training facility or if required your own suitable premises, please contact Paul for further information.
