Transafety Limited was formed in March 2000 with the support of ICI Chemicals & Polymers Limited.  We are a small company with a big reputation based on the Fylde Coast close to Blackpool, Preston and Lancaster.  Our offices and training facilities are located on what was ICI Hillhouse Site at Thornton - Cleveleys.    

Our 5 day DGSA course currently costs £425 + vat, for existing dangerous goods training advisors we run a 4 day course at a cost of £340 + vat.  The course includes all consumables, refreshments and a buffet lunch. 

Our aim is for all our candidates to pass the examinations at the first attempt.  To fully prepare the student for the examination we work to
the following 10 point plan:

1. Our course has been approved as part of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) scheme. 

2. We provide a comfortable classroom facility.

3. Maximum of 6 students per course.

4. We use Apple Keynote presentation slides.

5. We continuously review the course content and presentation to improve comprehension.

6. After each section of the course the student is tested to reinforce learning.

7. Whenever possible we support learning with practical examples.

8. On the final day of the course we run a mock core, all classes and road examination. 

9. At the end of the course each student takes away sample questions and an answer pack.

10. We encourage students to contact us if they need assistance before the examination.

We also offer a DGSA consultancy service and provide cover for companies who do not wish to appoint their own safety advisor or who require holiday cover.
